  • UnitedHealth Group. David Wichmann unexpectedly announced his departure from the company and was replaced by Sir Andrew Witty, the former CEO of GlaxoSmithKline.
  • Intel Corp. Outgoing CEO Bob Swan was replaced by VMWare CEO Pat Gelsinger.
  • CVS Health. Karen Lynch became the newest female CEO of an S&P 500 company, bringing the total number up to 31.
